Topic 2: Business Processes

Through a hands-on exercise, we experience the value and challenges of mapping out a business process using the BPMN notations.We also explore different ways processes can be improved through information systems.

2. Explain the basic elements of BPMN as a business process modeling tool
3. Describe ways to improve business processes using information systems
4. Describe characteristics of high quality information, and problems with poor quality information in organizations
